Academisch Centrum Tandheelkunde Amsterdam (Academic Centre for Dentistry Amsterdam) is a collaboration between the dental faculties of the University of Amsterdam and the VU University Amsterdam. ACTA, accommodated in a purpose built, building completed in 2010 in the Zuidas (business district) of Amsterdam has a workforce of approximately 500 to support around 800 undergraduate dental students, conduct research of international standing, provide postgraduate training and care for typically 300 patients a day. The ACTA tie (21138.1 – condition, new) can be worn by all those associated with the Centre.
