British Dental Students Association - 1980s version
The British Dental Students’ Association (BDSA), founded in 1942, is a student association run by dental students for dental students. The Association represents over 5,000 dental students in the UK. The BDSA and British Dental Association are two separate organisations that work closely together. It is understood that the original BDSA tie (early version, 22101 – condition, worn; later version 20098.3 – condition, good) was designed by Professor N A (Tony) Naylor at Guy’s Dental Hospital in 1957. This subsequent design of BDSA tie was introduced in the 1980s.
