It is understood that Cardiff Dental School alumni had a tradition of an annual alumni rugby match, with matches such as the one in 200 being sponsored by Wesleyan and celebrated with, amongst other things, the commissioning of a special tie (21621 - condition, good). Cardiff Dental School has a proud history of students playing rugby for Welsh clubs and , in some cases the national team. As a consequence, the school’s alumni rugby matches must have been special events.
