College of General Dental Practitioners. This College (CGDP), established in 1990 , was left in abeyance in 1991 subsequent to the formation of the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK), hosted by the Royal College of Surgeons of England. The tie of the College is rare, given that only a small number were produced for the c30 male dentists who became members of the College. The company limited by guarantee underpinning the formation of CGDP was reactivated in the process of forming the College of General Dentistry which was established in 2021.
