Faculty of General Dental Practice (UK). The Faculty of General Dental of Practice (UK) (FGDP(UK)) was established in 1992 as the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners (UK). The UK siffix was added in 19xx. The Faculty was the only professional membership body in the UK specifically for general dental practice. The original tie in red or dark blue had a single, centrally-placed, outlined Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCS Eng) eagle motif sitting above ‘FGDP(UK)’.
