International College of Dentists, Section V -Europe. The Section, formed in 1955, has had two ties to date. The original tie maroon with multiple International College of Dentists gold key motives, some with a maker’s “ALPI” embossed trinket sewn into the tip of the tie was worn by Fellows of the Section from c.1995 through until 2015 when the current tie (20602.5 – condition, new) was introduced to mark the 60thanniversary of the formation of the Section. The design of the current tie was one of eight proposed designs created by Agnieszka Williams, a former designer for ‘Tie Rack’, at the request of Dr Shelagh Farrell, a Past-president of the Section.
