Manchester Dental Education Trust. Manchester Dental Education Trust (MANDENT) was established in 1994 to raise funds to build and equip Manchester Dental Education Centre (MANDEC). Proceeds from the sale of MANDENT ties (19975.1 – condition, good), with the Manchester University Dental Hospital elephants (see below) in the centre of the tie (19975.1 – condition, new) went towards the £2.75M cost of building and equipping MANDEC.
