University College Cork Dental School and Hospital
University College Cork Dental School and Hospital was founded in 1913 as a combined initiative of University College Cork and the North Infirmary Hospital, Cork. University College Cork took over the operation of the dental school in 1967. In the style of the Rod of Asclepius, the motif of this tie (21022 – condition, good) includes, below three crowns taken from the coat of arms of University College Cork, a serpent entwined around a pair of forceps holding a tooth.
